A Message
from the Moderator

Greetings in the matchless Name of Jesus Christ. I want to thank all of you for having enough confidence in me, and electing me to serve as your moderator for four more years.  Thank you, one and all.  As I stand on the shoulders of many great men of God who have served you in the position as moderator, men like, Rev. J. Haynes, Rev. E. Miller, Rev. G. McFoulon, Rev. S. Thompson and Rev. D. Sleet, I consider it an honor to carry the torch that has been passed up.

Brothers and Sisters, as we embark on another year, let us do it with vim and vigor, to make a difference not only in our individual churches, but let us make a difference in our city.  I believe that if we all come together as a unit there wouldn't be any mountains that we can't climb.  As your moderator, I pledge and come unto you totally committed to you and the Antioch District, while striving for excellence in Kingdom Building.

I beseech you, Antioch, let us come even closer together this year with enthusiasm, as we unite ourselves together for one common cause and that is to do a mighty work for the Lord; climbing new heights, crossing new rivers and valleys, and paving a new way for those that are coming behind us.

I can't say enough about United We Stand!  UNITED WE STAND, will you stand with me?

Our scripture is:
"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place." Acts 2:1

Let this year be the beginning of beginnings, by all of us (Antioch District Missionary Baptist Association) coming together as with one accord, in one place.  I thank God for each and everyone of you and may He continue to bless you one and all real, real good.

Whatever heights we may reach, valleys we may cross, obstacles we may encounter, "To God be The Glory!"
