A Welcome letter from the Moderator
Greetings in the matchless name of our Risen Savior, Jesus the Christ. It is with joy that I continue to serve as Moderator of this great Antioch District Missionary Baptist Association. We are great because of the grace and mercy of our Lord, Jesus Christ who has ordained that we serve together yet another year. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
Welcome, visitors, to the website of the Antioch District Missionary Baptist Association. We pray you will take your time and look through this site paying particular attention to the Calendar of Events. I personally invite you to visit any meeting or ministry event to see what we offer as a District. If your church is looking to align itself with a district in the St. Louis area, please look us over. We can only get better with your support. If you are an individual looking for a church home, feel free to visit any of our member churches that make up this awesome district.
During my tenure as Moderator of the Antioch District, I am thankful for the support of my Moderator Staff, Executive Staff, all Presidents, Directors and Supervisors, and you, my fellow Laborers in Christ. You continue with Antioch and for that, I am grateful. I know we are what we are because of your love and support of this District. This year, let us remain steadfast together, touching and agreeing that God will take us even higher in His service.
For the past two years, we have emphasized "Working Together" and "Pulling Together." This year, in Solidarity With The Savior, I expect that Antioch will achieve great and marvelous things with the help of the Lord.
Our 2011-2012 theme is: Solidarity with the Savior
"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou has sent me." John 17:20-21
Our 2010-2011 theme was: "Pulling Together"
"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in
one place." Acts 2:1
Our 2009-2010 theme was: "Doing the Work Together"
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together
in unity." Psalm 133:1
To our visitors, please consider becoming a part of the GREATEST DISTRICT in the city of
St. Louis, the Antioch District Missionary Baptist Association.
To the Antioch District, I say thank you for your support as we continue to pray together, work together and trust God together. I'm excited about how the Lord can and will bless us in this work TOGETHER.
To God Be The Glory,
Rev. Nathaniel Griffin Sr.
